Seems appropriate here

Ok, so here's where you can post mushy stuff. This forum did have another name before... 'cuz when I started this I just added a bunch of silly forums, but now its mushy stuff. You know, like... uhh... umm... babies, and pink flowers, and stuff.

Yea, and I was looking for a way to legitimately post on this thread that didn't require a sex change.

So..... it looks like i have some time before the test pilot is finished her training. :-) Eeexcellent. I'm almost done that rediculous robot, but this pesky collapsed building is holding up the works a bit. :-P

...and ya! She IS cute!

Old thread, spambumped I know. Anyway...

When I was part of a startup making giant robots (24' bipeds, not spiders), the team had the half-hearted goal of getting the first mech to walk before the boss's firstborn did. Sadly, the neural network inside a baby was far more impressive and finely tuned to its body than one in the mech. Though it's kind of cheating, 'cause it had been pre-programmed. 3 billion years of evolution and all that.
