What Projects Would You Undertake...

Show off your projects, ask about others, talk about mine, whatever. Ask for help, or just say, Wooo, thats cool.

Well, I've now started serious work on 3 of the 8 projects I mentioned in the first post. Will probably be a few years before I have anything I want to show off though... so hang in there :)

I'll post pics of some of the other unrelated side projects I've been working on over the next few weeks.

That would be awesome. Anyone here have experience with permaculture and stuff?

I recall seeing some videos on Youtube about food forests in India that have persisted without maintenance for hundreds of years.

GTFO spammers!

Anyway, I have a few projects im planning right now or have actually made a small start on :)

* Water powered get engine for aircraft(ive started on it and its TOTALLY possible!)
* Small fancy sailboat which im working on at school :)
* Small Seaplane that when landed on water, the wing is used as a sail! my idea but its also been thought of before. My idea for a small one I could build really soon is different from what ive seen on google so far.
* Awesome sailboat to live on sometimes, with a dome on it and if its big enough with a smaller boat to go to shore, which is also a small underwater plane (MY idea again but its been used by a few rich people already)
* Under water plane, just a sub that looks a bit like a plane but his upside down wings and floats. It would end up in the same shape as a sea animal as a good design I figured out, for stability and such which is cool :)
* simple land yacht I got a sail for the other day

* An exo skeleton would be awesome! but ive been wanting to make my perfect multi purpose survival outfit for ages, that has awesome boots that looks very fashionable and manly and journeyman-ish, but are agile, Light, Springy and can be used for all sorts of things, like tramping running sailing all of that! and for general wear! Maybe also have some drag inducing feature to improve swimming capabilities! Socks would be pretty general, warm and dry fast, I haven't put much thought into them so far. Underwear is sort of briefs with longer leg bits, sort of like tight boxers that dry fast and double as togs and look damn attractive to the ladies! Pants are almost water resistant (and fast drying), and kind of loose like a good pair of track pants but better! They would be warm and tuck into the top of the boots to look awesome. They are a bit loose so they are comfy and roll up easy (not too thick) for when it gets hot. Otherwise you can take them off you wear your togs (maybe the underwear would have another layer over.. important parts). The pants would be almost wind resistant and when it gets really cold there is space for warm leggings under them. The shirt is tight so its like another skin. It would be made from materials like merino and modern sort of materials like that but quiet thin, so when its hot its not too warm. It would be very fast drying and button up as well as being A.B.C! i think forest green, light navy blue and maroon red would be cool colours a bit like link's tunics from the legend of Zelda: the ocarina of time (its a classic game!). It would have a collar folded down but if its sunny or cold it can be put up for neck protection and T shirt sized sleeves. It is this way so you could go swimming in it and not be restricted, then its dries fast. Not sure about what to go over the shirt yet, but it will be something that has jacket like properties but also casual for when its too cold for just the shirt.
The hat is the most important part by far! It would include super goggles, for flying open cockpit aircraft, safety goggles for working and hopefully can be electronically dimmed or fluid dimmed for sun glasses and gas welding (little dial on it somewhere), maybe even MIG welding if its good enough! They would look a bit like motorcycle goggles or mad scientist goggles and its suitable to wear them around :) :) :). The have a strap of course and when you're not using them they go on your forehead. THE HAT is an aviator hat pretty much, super warm (like wool and leather) but also with a bit of strength in it for if you are doing extreme stuff and have a small accident, it will help protect you! The ear flaps would be big flat flaps that go past your ears and have a forward curve, and can be bend and buttoned sort of so it can be made into a brim! thats why they are curved! Summer hat can consist of a modern and nice tricorn :) or whatever looks super cool! I have a tricorn in my head I really want to make.

The outfit would also include a ring which you can use to get wind direction which im designing now and hopefully compass direction too! You can wear a watch or have a pendant watch (you can get ones that tell the time for the sun but its not ideal). A very simple digital clock would be good, and an electronic device could be added to replace that.

his outfit could included a power suit too, I'm thinking of something i saw a while ago and its a material and when you put electricity through it it moves like and electronic muscle. Strips could be put down your arms or something to give you more strewth maybe but im not sure how it works.

Thats enough for now. But I want to go into space one day, and maybe have an underwater base. A sailing zeppelin is also on the board.
