What country are you from?

SO, ya... be nice. We don't all have to agree about what the world should be like. I personally think the world should be an awesome place. :-)
....and no offense to anyone, but please keep the bible thumping out of it. I'm just not up to explaining how incredibly stastitically improbably it is that the earth is 6000-ish years old.

Dang it, I was reading along thinking I might be the first but there ya go. I am a Kiwi though, but you may as well call me an Aussie, been here 96.29% of my life. I am living in sunny Queensland on a lovely 2 acres which is kinda like living in suburbia but with really big blocks and heaps of room to move. I have dreams of selling up here then taking the profits and buying cheap land further out living off the grid and being self sufficient in every way, ie. food, water and electricity. I'll see how I go talking the wife around. She's a teacher, maybe one day I could start a community somewhere remote like Jaimie's Island idea but inland (less cyclone activity, more predictable weather) and my wife could be the teacher for all the kids. But enough rabbiting on from me.

Awesome I'm moving to the Gold Coast when I get back. 2 acres is a great! I would also like a bit of land and a hobby farm in a few years.

I'm from the US. Lived in 3 different timezones here, but always in the states. In Boulder, Colorado now, not many fat people here. There's too much to do outside.

I´m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Unfortunately I live in the city, and would like to live in the woods like you do.
Me and my wife love your way of life.
Someday...

Keep up with the videos. They are awesome.

Hi, I'm from the US, living in Kentucky right now. I've been all over though. I work as a Software Engineer doing mainly web-based products.

Cheers!

Hi, I'm from Adelaide, South Australia!!!! Yeah! Go the Australians!!!!

Moved from England in 2003. I'm 21 years old doing an Industrial Electrical Apprenticeship. The knowledge I am learning is awesome but I hate the job!!!!

I have been watching Jamie's videos for probably 2 years. I find inspiration from his adventures and pretty much envy his life style.....I WANT YOUR LIFE!!!!

Loving the forum! Cheers.

16, New zealand (south) My lack of money makes me resourceful and soon I might be making money from my little crafts. I make stuff out of wood mainly and sometimes metal but normally I dont get around to making anything >:( I like to make other things and robots is on the list! I fly radio control airplanes and sometimes I get to go fly real planes with my local area club which is awesome. I want to invent stuff and so far ive got a few good ideas my best one is a water powered airplane engine which is really cool and im trying to make. It should work but I dont know how well but I figure people here would be interested in that project!

Anyone else that actually lives in New Zealand?
