Hey guys, I had an idea. Why don't we make a collection of videos that show how to do things that pertain to the types of projects we'd make here? No, I don't mean jaimie's videos. But maybe a video on how to wire together solar panels, or how to make a PCB etc.

I'll start.

Here's a video on how to make your own solar panels. (I have mixed reactions on his work, I'd like to see it much cleaner, but I'm tired and didn't feel like browsing youtube too long.)

Hi, my opinion + exp =
1- well becouse vids on youtube - commercialized now- like to get vanished and banned etc. I actually closed my account when stupid youtube changed their law of uploading without my acception all my videos went to their videos.. anyway i preffer Vimeo. It much more better place to store vids ^_^
2- normally there is not enough time to made a film, cut it somehow, transcode it with some codec (like h264 which is not free codec) and then upload for plenty minutes or hours to see just that ur hq video is again converting by youtube.. damn such a waste of time when doing it freeware like me. i dont like to pay for anything i am using always freeware stuff ;/
3- well when I readed - make ur solar panel by ur own, I didnt expect it will be - buy some smaller solar panels and join em together... well it is building, but.. hmmm
4- Did U know U can power up these cells? Just use a fresnel lens, and add a water cooling system to panels, of course it would be nice to made them waterproof first, then they will work more efficent ^_^
5- I know i did a little offtop - just ignore me I am loudly thinking sometimes.. hehe
But seriously, its more safe to copy some schematics or images to google picasa web album and put it in here with link Rather than video, becouse seriously videos are vanishing from time to time , and with some time here would be a lot of not working or blocked in this country errors etc.. (i am not saying a thing about adobe.. becouse after last update of damn flash player on youtube i cannot watch it anymore on my mobile phone.. it says "update ur flash player" - well perfect couse i am using Brew OS and webBrowser is melted with OS s o I cannot update anything.. awsome)

So in my opinion pic and sch. are more timeProof and safe, and working, and dont need any plugins that are again some big concern that wonted from u to instell Their codecs or players on hdd ^_^
And plz dont send ninjas on me xD its my opinion ;p
