We're in Woodland Park, CO and have the most excellent Pike National Forest to play around in.

Excellent. I thought it looked like a Colorado landscape. I'm up in Boulder, and still need to explore a lot more of the state.

Yeah Colorado rocks for doing awesome stuff. Never did much like Boulder, but it's close enough to some sweet spots too. We can have all kinds of fun out in the national forest while still living close to large enough cities to get supplies and the like for projects.
